1990 Acura Integra GS 3-Door
1990 Acura Integra GS Description
Stock 1990 Acura Integra GS 3-door, with 5-speed. Owned since new in July, 1990. It has 135000 miles on it, of which the last 10000 or so were accumulated over the last 12 years, and prior to that it was almost all highway miles.
Damage to d
river door and rear quarter immediately behind it from low-speed side-swipe. No other major accidents, and the car tracks straight. The clearcoat is peeling on the hood. There is rust-through on the bottom of the driver side front fender and the hatchback where the spoiler attaches on the driver side. There are assorted small dents and surface rust, including at the front of the hood, and one fog light lens is cracked. Glass is good, as are the other lenses. The rear window washer does not work (wiper works fine). The interior is in very good condition except for some fading and one small tear in the right rear side panel, and the coin holder door is missing a hinge pin. I am a non-smoker and do not have any pets. The power windows, mirrors, sunroof, and antenna all work. It has an aftermarket Panasonic MP3/WMA CD player (manual and faceplate protector included). The heater works, but some of the control lights do not illuminate. The blower motor was replaced recently, but the new one is louder than the original one. The car has A/C, but it does not work. It has the original spare and jack.
Mechanically, it starts, drives, and stops OK, and is driven once a week or so around town. However, it has numerous squeaks, rattles, and clunks. There isoccasionally some steering wheel vibration at speeds above 45 MPH. The anti-lock brake system does not work (warning light is on). The engine has some small oil leaks, and the oil pan has a replacement clamp-style oil drain plug because a careless quick change person stripped the pan many years ago. The radiator and high-pressure power steering hose were replaced in the last couple of years (there is some power steering whine). It has the original clutch, but it does not slip. The original timing belt was replaced, but the current one should probably be replaced soon (because of time, not mileage). The tires are low mileage, but about 9 years old. Exhaust is OK.
Also included in this auction:- The fourth OE aluminum wheel, slightly bent (pothole), with tire with sidewall bubble (internal impact break); still holds air
- The other 3 OE "take-off" steel wheels, with hubcaps and special lug nuts with washers to hold hubcaps on
Because of its age and condition, there may be other hidden issues that I am not aware of. I would expect that at least some suspension, steering, and/or brake work is needed. As such, this vehicle is sold as is
