1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Description

Original Owner - it is a "Graduate" with a Shankle aftermarket aerodynamic kit, car has been in two minor accidents, 119K miles, it runs and drives but has only been driven 4000 miles in the last 15 years so it needs some work. For all intents and purposes it is a "PROJECT CAR". A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is due within 24 hours of auction end. Remaining amount due within 5 business. Winning bidder is responsible for arranging pick up or shipping - I do not recommend driving the vehicle more than a few miles in its present condition. Added 5/24/2017 - Disclosure: The vehicle history report does not list two prior accidents primarily because they were minor in nature. First accident was a dent to the passenger side door along the bottom. This occurred in a parking lot and the driver left the scene. The paint on the passenger side is faded in the area of the repair and there is some spider webbing of the paint inside the door frame. Accident Two - I was hit in the rear while making a turn resulting in a bent bumper and a crease on the passenger side just behind the door (see images). The bumper was replaced however, the dent remains.

The Bad:

• The leather seats are both torn in the center, driver side also torn on the back
• Car doesn’t idle right (possible vacuum leak)
• Steering has slop
• Carpet is worn (hole in driver side floorboard)
  
• Soft Top interior is beginning to unravel (outside / window still looks good!)
• Tires are over 20 years old and dry rotted
• Rims are corroded and are NOT hub-centric.
• Clear coat is shot
• There are some dents
  
• Rubber coil spacers were used to minimize the "Squat"
  
• A/C Not Working
• Wipers only function on high
• Transmission leaks
• Engine and cylinder head are no longer original (correct year, just not to the car)
• Added 5/24/17 Heater blower fan does not come on
• Added 5/24/17 Radio Antenna is no longer attached to the wind shield / screen
• Added 5/24/17 There are two cracks in the dash leading from vents to the windshield
• Added 5/24/17 There is a "Pea" sized rock chip in the windshield, this was repaired with an aftermarket epoxy repair kit
