The early Alfa convertibles, the Giulietta’s of the 50's and early 60', have moved strongly upmarket…..they are now fetching $60k – $80k. The next generation, the Duetto’s and Boat-tail Spider’s from 1966 to 1969 ……are now commanding $40k -55k. These 70’s Alfa’s are next in line for significant movement.
This car was a very solid CA car driven sparingly by the former owner and was used for the basis of this mild restoration. The miles are now approximately 64, 300 --- almost impossible to find a comparable car.
A great Alfa shop in Burbank (Alfa Italia) refreshed all the mechanicals, a proper Spica injection rebuild, overhauled the brakes and then had the car painted and a proper new interior and top installed.

This is an immensely rewarding car to drive and now might be the time to acquire one……. this generation is anticipated to appreciate smartly, and this example more so because of the low miles and much sought after color combination.
This car is out of a recognized collection in Burbank, recently visited by the Checkered Flag Club from the Peterson Museum.
