1970 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 with 16,536 Original Miles, One Celebrity Owner
1970 Alfa Romeo GTV Description
One Owner Alfa with 16,000 original miles. This 1970 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 was originally sold in Berlin Germany to an actor named Darren McGavin. He was in Berlin shooting a movie called the Berlin Affair in 1970 and he special ordered this car new from Alfa Romeo. He ordered a Fuel Injected model so there would be no problem shipping it to the USA. He drove it around Berlin for a month and shipped to the Los Angeles, California. He drove it very little, parked it and never drove it again. I have the Registration with his name on it. The car is not running. It's been sitting for many years but may start up with a good service. It was running fine when parked. It has the last service sticker on the door jamb that shows it was serviced at 13,000 miles. It's a project car and needs to be restored but, it will clean up good if you don't want to restore it right away. It's all complete. It has the original Butterfly seats and the original 1750 engine. It has rust in the typical places. All of the rust can be repaired with spot welding. The worst area is on the front right rocker panel corner. Also the roof was caved in by vandals a bit but can be pushed out and repaired. The hood opens and closes fine. Great investment. These cars are going way up in value. Also, very few 1970 Alfa's were exported to the USA in 1970. I can help arrange Domestic or Overseas Transport. You can reach me at 714-728-2675 for more information. I have connections to transport it overseas. **Please no inappropriate emails about the car.**The Title was lost but it will come with a Bill of Sale and the Registration. I can get a title for overseas or out of state buyers. It will take 15 days to get it.
