1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Alacantara sport seats Description

This was the last US model Spider and has the final and reliable BOSCH injection and ignition. It was built by Pininfarina with Ferrari Cromodora alloy wheels.

It is in fantastic original condition with original paint, etc. The one exception is that I cracked the front lower bumper backing it out of my garage and instead of repairing it, I had it replaced with a new old stock bumper and professionally painted/installedfor an exact match. The car has been garaged and covered. It is currently registered as an antique vehicle. Also, the seats look a bit used, but they are ok and not torn. The top is also good. I think one snap is missing from the top cover.

I also installed an almost modern radio in it and new speakers so that I could listen to a CD and not a tape cassette. I have the original Alfaradio and speakers in storage. I also put on a Nardi steering wheel and retained the original air-bag wheel as well.

It has 20,223 original miles on it. The original Jaeger speedometer failed in 2015, showing 12,216 miles while the replacement has 8007 miles on it. This information is on a door sticker as well as on the transfer papers. I have driven the car 455 miles since 2015. The reason I am selling it is only because I do not use it and my wife will not ride in sports cars anymore. My 63 BMW R27 with 14,000 miles on it is for sale for the same reason! Getting old isn't all that fun!

Everything works as it should and I have all of the original books, pamphlets and paperwork from ALGAR Ferrariin Rosemont. It still has the ALGAR license plate frame on it. The booklet still had the original ALGAR salesman’s business card in it, which I showed to that salesman at the Ferrari Owners Club meet last summer…I think he enjoyed seeing it!

I just had the car gone through by Hiestand’s Specialist Garage in Manheim and they replaced all of the filters and oils and replaced the clutch master cylinder and push lever. They told me the car did not need anything else. I did this service prior to deciding to sell the car. It is a lovely car and I am selling it for a great price...less than a new motorcycle and far more enjoyable!
