Well preserved original example from San Diego California. If you have been searching for this model you would want to consider this car. It remains Factory stock without modifications and shows 110,00 miles. Always garaged and never infected with rust. No signs of any prior accident damage. Its been well cared for since new and remains in very nice condition. It has neverreceiveda "nut and bolt" restoration.

I recently purchased from it's third owner since 1984. It has always been a local car and has its original bluelicenseplates.

A major service was completed 4 years ago after it had been put in storage for several years.

EXTERIOR:

Always rust free, many underside photos including inner fender shown below and online. Original Factory body weldsvisibleand undisturbed. Original color silver, one older repaint back in the mid 1980's. Shows well for its age, shiny with lots of depth. Strong driver quality. Bumpers and trim appears all original and in good condition. The chrome mounting points for top boot has some pitting. New quality cloth top as original. It is missing the convertible top cover (boot). New replacements have been on back order. Left rear tail lite chrome has chipped at edge. Engine compartment cosmetics remain original. Inside trunk is clean with the all the original rubber mats in fine condition. Original tire well without any corrosion or prior welds. (*dark ring in photo is from the spare tire)

INTERIOR:

Primarily original, shows that the car car has been well cared for. Seats, door panels and rubber floor mats remain in very good condition. Plastic chrome trim on passenger door panel is faded. I recently replaced the cracked original dash with a new, original reproduction dash sourced from Europe and it looks fantastic.

Passenger seat upper side panel, although barely visible has a good size tear. All Gauges in working order.

MECHANICAL:
Runs and drives very well. Original Fuel Injection system. Engine appears original: # AR0055103575. The 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly without any second gear whine. Original injection was inspected and serviced as needed in 2015. Also front brakes, tie rod ends, gas tank and new Pirelli Tires among other items. Very few miles since then. Recently replaced fuel pump and rear brakes. There is a small exhaust leak at the muffler.
