1963 AMC Other 770 Cross County Description

This is a stock 1963 AMC Rambler Classic 770 Cross County with the die cast aluminum 195.6 engine and 3 speed manual transmission with E Stick. The engine was only produced from 61 thru 64 by AMC, and features a aluminum block and cast iron head. Engine has new water pump, new tune up, carb rebuild, and runs great! The transmission is a 3 on the Tree manual transmission, and features the E Clutch that was also produced for the same years. The E Clutch basically allows the driver to shift the transmission once it's moving without the clutch. Transmission shifts smooth and the clutch works perfect. Body wise the car is in great shape, with some rust around the rear wheel opening on both sides that was treated by a previous owner and filled with foam to keep moisture out. Seats are there but need to be reupholstered. All Glass is intact but could use a new windshield. Other then that, car runs and drives great! Feel free to ask any questions .
