My wonderful old Rambler American DeLuxe -
Mileage probably 143,000 (99,999 rollover)
Miles per gallon, about 25.
Starts, runs, and drives beautifully.Rccent work: front brake shoes replaced, transmission overhauled, valves adjusted, carb (Carter YF) rebuilt, new exhaust system (pipes, manifold, muffler). Repainted (original colors) about six years ago. New tires in 2016.
Cylinder compression: 135, 135, 138, 135, 140, 138 psi.
Original owner's manual and Technical Service Manual.
Lots more photos available on request. Car drives anywhere - but never driven in wet weather!
