TWO 1969 AMC JAVELIN SST 343 ENGINES, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS
1969 AMC Javelin SST Description
( PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION FOR DETAILS ON BOTH CARS ) Due to unforeseen circumstances I am selling these cars I have recently purchased this year on ebay, both are 1969 AMC Javelins SSTs with 343 engines and automatic transmissions, the following info. was on the original listing for the blue car, Up for auction is a 1969 AMC Javelin SST project car untouched mostly ( rough ) & a nice 1969 AMC Javelin SST project car. The blue car has its original 343 engine and automatic transmission along with the stock rear axle. The car is currently not running or driving. The engine has been rebuilt with Crower cam, Edelbrock intake and Mallory distributor but has been sitting for several years. The cylinders have been oiled before storage and does turn over freely. This low mile car has been in storage for several years and will need a some restoration. Door tag reads Body: R000156, Model: 6979-7 (SST), Trim: 963F (Blue bucket standard vinyl), Paint: 72A (Frost White), Line: E000774 (Line Number - Kenosha Plant East). The rear quarters are the originals and have had some repair work done around the rear wheels. The fenders, doors, hood and truck lid are in very nice condition. The underside of this car is also very solid. The rear frame rails, trunk pan, floor pan and front shock towers are solid with no rust through. The car has a blue interior with bucket seats and a full console. The bucket seat are not the originals but in excellent shape. The interior is in nice shape with no cracks in the dash but the carpet are gone. The glass is all the original and in good condition with the exception of the windshield which has a crack. The vinyl top has been removed but all the trim is still on the car. The trunk contains extra parts along with the lower rocker trim pieces. This is a good complete 1969 AMC Javelin that needs an easy restoration. The VIN plate plus door tag are still attached to this car. I have a clean title for the car. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or for the additional pictures of the car. This item is sold as is, thanks for looking. All shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I found that there was no drive shaft with this car after purchase. The bronze colored car is in its original state ( unmolested, rough condition ) mostly complete, new tires were put on prior to seller listing the car, this car needs a great amount of work to make it usable ( this car body wise is very rusted, hood is shot and of no use ), I was told by the seller the previous owner may have done some inner engine work, this car did run when I picked it up as the owner started it and drove it onto the trailer, ( it took over an hour to get started due to wiring and starter issues ) Please note; this car has no brakes working except emergency, the starter and wires made it very difficult to start and the seller used a bottle with fuel to start sitting next to the engine, the engine ran great ( didn't smoke when started ), I will not start the car in its current state due to the difficulty in starting the car etc. however I am selling both cars as ROLLING ONLY, and suggest that vehicles be loaded by winch or manually to prevent any serious incidents from occurring, Neither car has the vinyl tops in place, I had not started working on either of these cars as the blue car was purchased only 2 months ago, both cars were purchased off ebay and both cars have clear titles NOTE THE BLUE CAR HAS AUTOMATIC COUNSEL ON THE FLOOR AND BUCKETS, THE BRONZE CAR HAS THE BENCH SEAT AND COLUMN SHIFTER, BOTH ARE BEING SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY AND WILL NOT BE SOLD SEPARATELY. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING/PICKUP/HANDLING FEES. A $500.00 dollar non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction ending. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU INTEND TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH PURCHASE. THANK YOU
