1969 AMC SC/Hurst Rambler V8 4-Speed Low Miles 'A' Scheme
1969 AMC SC/Hurst Rambler V8 4-Speed Low Miles 'A' Scheme Description
I purchased the car in 2011, it's been sitting in a garage ever since.
It has the original red, white, and blue paint. Majority of pictures above were taken 1/6/18.
390 engine un-assembled, BorgWarner T10 4-Speed rebuilt.
It was raced from '73 to '77. The motor blew up and it has been in a garage ever since.
Trunk, quarter panels, and rocker panels are all good. Needs slight metal work in the floors on the sides behind the rocker panels. Slight rust on the rear left wheel well. The fenders are rolled in from the factory.
Interior only needs the front seat redone and carpeting. The dash and headliner are in very nice shape. Glass is all in very nice shape, as well. Original hood scoop and Hurst mirror.
The license plate is from 1978. What is left of the inspection sticker on the windshield says it was issued in 1977.
All the original drive train parts are included: drive shaft, transmission, cross member, bell housing, clutch linkage, fly wheel, motor mounts, block, heads, intake, carburetor, exhaust manifold, tailpipes, rods, pistons, oil pan, front of the motor housing, water pump, pulleys, vibrations damper, starter, 7 blade fan, shroud, radiator, and air cleaner with butterfly linkage for ram-air. The block is NOT original to the car, but it is a 1969.
Solid state Mallory electronic distributor with a coil (from the era.) The only alteration to the car was that the battery was put in the trunk.
Doors swing open and shut perfectly.
Has power disc brakes on the front and manual steering. The steering wheel has no cracks, and is centered with no play.
Includes some extra parts, as well.
Would be an easy restoration.
