1965 AMC rambler classic 770 Description
I purchased this car this spring in hopes to have some fun with it. I have only been able to take it to test and tune one time so far.
Car has the following parts--- 355 Chevy engine 010 block out of a truck---angle plug heads from World Products---large springs and retainers---aluminum rockers and stud gridle---large solid cam---Victor Jr intake---Holly pump with dual regulators---Hei with Accell 8.8 wires and MSD coil and 6AL box-electric water pump drive---Fluidyne aluminum radiator with electric fan--- mini starter---350 turbo with 10 inch converter(no brake)-- Shifted by a new B+M shifter with line lock button--8.5 rear end with 5.13 gears and a cover gridle---coil overs with ladderlink adjustable bars---Micky Thompson tires front and rear--- rear are 29.5 by 13-- car should take a 32-14. Weld wheels front and rear---Flowmaster knock off mufflers--
The car is currently sold without the carb shown. However I can replace it with a good 3310 750 vacuum secondary carb I had one my circle track car for an additional $100. Or if you want the carb on the car it will cost you an extra $400. Car still retains its original vin plate- I do not have a title but I called the Grant County Sheriffs Dept and they ran it for stolen it is clear and a title should be available. NO TRADES NO TRADES price is firm you can't build this car for anything close to what I am asking. I live one hour north of Indy- no title, I had to add clear to get list car.
Guy I bought the car off said it ran 7.30s I added exhaust backed timming down about 5 degrees took out a 7000 rpm chip added a 6200 chip 7.70s which is about 12 flat 7.30s is 11.40s if you want lean on it.

What do I need to take it to the track? Answer is a trailer.What's wrong with it? Answer nothing but the belts are out of date.What gas does it use? Previous owner was using racing gas I retarded the timing 5 degrees and ran 93 with no problems.
