The AMC Javelin is a pony car that was built by AMC between 1967 and 1974 in two generations, model years 1968 to 1970 (with a separate design in 1970) and 1971 to 1974. The sporty Javelins came only as two-door hardtop (with no "B" pillar) body style, and were available in economical versions or as high-performance muscle cars. Javelins won the Trans-Am race series with AMC sponsorship in 1971 and 1972, and independently in 1976. GR Auto Gallery is... pleased to present this 1968 AMC Javelin SST for your consideration. The Javelin is powered by its 343 (5.6L) v8 and paired with an automatic transmission. The engine fires right up and runs strong, the transmission shifts as it should. The car comes with the original owner's manual and proctecto plate. The Gold paint remains in good condition and the chrome is nice and shiny. The car has an AM radio, center console, front bucket seats and rear bench seat, power steering, power brakes, aftermarket water temp and oil pressure gauges. The car rides on 14 inch factory steel wheels with white letter tires. This car is priced to sell and will not last long.
