1964 AMC 660 Classic V8 Classic Description

EXPORT, NO PROBLEM...

I'm a collector. This is a Rare Rambler 660 Classic... Super COOL in very nice, low mile condition. This little classic has been loved and meticulously maintained and it shows. However, I bought it, long distance from a dishonest dealer who lied extensively about its then condition. It was clear when the car arrived that it had been sitting for an extended period and needed extensive "out of storage" service. I replaced many critical components and serviced the car fully to bring it back to its former glory... many thousands of dollars and man hours late, she's awesome. The car is solid and rust free and runs/drives excellent. The factory V8 works flawlessly and shes a joy to cruise. Highly optioned with power steering/brakes, airliner seats, etc. The car looks, runs, feels great all around. Definite daily driver capable... Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection. It's a driver not a trailer queen but will hold its own at cruises and local shows... not much to make it show winner. My plans to give it to my teenage daughter as a summer cruiser were squashed by the dishonesty of the previous seller... I'm selling at a major loss... a smart buyers gain! :)

Body is super super straight with no rust or collision damage that I can see... paint presents quite with some blemishes. Seams and rubbers are great and the body, trim, moldings etc are well in tact and in fantastic shape!

Interior is excellent, except for drivers seat which needs recovered. and presents well."Airliner" reclining seats are a cool option. Dash is excellent, panels, headliner etc are also great. Gauges, lights, and electronics work properly.
Factory 287 V8 Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent...has newly factory carb and fresh tune... rebuilt trans shifts so smooth through the gears. Suspensionhas been gone thru and serviced...feels tight and handles excellent. Brakes stop straight and sure. FABULOUS driver.
Overall this is an extremely nice little V8 Rambler cruiser in really good condition all around... it is well preserved and restored. Awesome weekend cruiser, potential show car, or addition to any collection. I am a collector... this is a great one for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, classic rod at a great price.
