1973 AMC Hornet SPORTABOUT Description

We have for auction today our 1973 AMC Hornet Sportabout Wagon. This AMC has extremely low mileageof 73,000 that is believed to be original. I have the clean California title in hand.
The stock original 304 V8 starts and runs great but it does havea noticeable exhaust leak. The only other flaw is the heater hoses have been disconnected (see pic). The automatictransmission goes into gear and shifts smooth and as it should. Brakes work great and the tires are literally brand new, they were replaced the day I brought it out of storage.
Cosmetically, this Hornet is extremely straight, no dings or dents at all and paint looks great but does have some "checking" on the clear but only on the hood. All glass is in good shape, clean and clear and original sticker from dealer is still on the driver sidewindow. This AMC has always been stored indoors in the desert climate so there is no rust anywhere. Please view the detailed pics and I have a video I can send out along with additional pictures.
Interior is all there and in exceptional shape from being stored indoors. The seats are free of damage and are not "dry rotted" as most of these are that sit in the sun, no rips anywhere. The glove box has some scratches from keys on the door and the manualmirror movement control knob for drivers side needs replaced.
This Hornet is stored in Moreno Valley California, 92551 near March Air Base.
