1959 AMC Other Description
1959 Nash Rambler American Deliveryman Street Rod. Car participated in the 2001 Hot Rod Power Tour with original engine and transmission. Since then, the "grocery getter" has been transformed into a neat little street rod with Chevrolet V8 power, automatic, and air conditioning. Mustang II stock front cross member with disk brakes and 1957 Ford 9 inch rear end with 3:00 gears mounted with new leaf springs, all new shocks, and a ratchet shifter. Rebuilt 305 SBC, 350 automatic matched with aluminum radiator and electric fan. Wilwood master cylinder assembly, For Ranger pickup wheels and new tires. Reproduction Mustang gas tank, new fuel and gas lines, new floors and firewall. Hooker block hugger headers, aluminum intake, new exhaust system. Tilt steering column from 1963 Buick Rivera, Grant steering wheel. All glass is good. Bucket seats from 1966 Dodge Coronet have been recovered, original rear seat is in place and needs to be recovered. Rust-free body is in primer.
