1974 AMC Javelin Description

AMC Javelin. Original owner, custom restoration modification professionally done. No expense spared. 572 cu.in. 620 HP crate motor, turbo 350 built trans, Dayna 60 3:73 custom built rear end with Strange competition pro race 35 spline axles, custom body work and white diamond ice paint.Custom built ceramic coat headers with 3" exhaust 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers with electric cut outs. 4 wheel cross drilled disc brake system. Billet specialties 5 spoke aluminum wheels with Mickey Thompson street drag radials.Purchased new in April 1974 as my first new car drove it for 49,000 miles and it sat for years while we raised our 4 children. In 2009/10 I decided to bring it back to life as a one of kind and maybe went overboard but was worth it when I cruised town and car shows and watch heads turn because of its rarity, beauty and sound. I plan on retiring and downsize and want my baby to go to a new home that will live on for another 50 years.
