1962 Austin Healey 3000 Description

California Car, 1962 BT7 Tri Carb, HBT7/L16934, complete frame off, ground up, nut and bolt restoration. All components including: mechanical, electrical, suspension, hardware, body and paint (Viper red), interior (tan), top (white), tonneau (white), side curtains (with a vinyl case), chrome (72 spoke) wire wheels, stainless exhaust, uninstalled luggage rack, car cover and more, have been meticulously rebuilt or replaced. This California car was sold in California, then garaged in Escalon, California from May 12, 1962 until June 8, 2011 (49 years) before I purchased it. I have all of the restoration receipts ($49,000) not including the hundreds of hours of disassembly and reassembly. Very strong engine, no oil leaks, no rattles, wind wings and authentic fender mirrors. The frame and suspension components were thoroughly cleaned and sealed with no evidence of damage. This car has only been driven to auto shows and around the block occasionally since I’ve owned it (1300 miles). When I purchased the car, I had it appraised for insurance purposes, and Ive shown a copy of the appraisal and the notes with it. Appraisal/Evaluation valued this car on June 8, 2011 at $68,500. I have also included a picture of the original purchase order for the car. I have more pictures if requested.

I have set a low reserve price, lower than the value of the car in today's market. I am using my sons ebay account for the listing. I would invite all interested parties to call me directly for further details and information, and if you are local, you may come see the car. Bidders with no feedback will need to call me prior to bidding. The car is in Northern California, and I can be reached at 1(916) 425-9167. My name is Chris. I will assist in helping you ship the car, however shipping and the costs associated are the buyers responsibility. Deposit required within 24 hours, and a final payment by cashiers check or cash within 3 days is required.

Car is for sale locally and in other publications and I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells.
