This car was manufactured in the US to resemble an Austin Healey. Classic Roadsters of Sauk Center, MN designed this car to handle 500 horsepower with a rectangular tube ladder style frame, cross members and steel center section. This car is titled as a 1962 Austin Healey allowing for a reduced insurance rate. With a power to weight ratio of one horsepower for every six pounds it provides a thrilling driving experience.
Engine: Chevrolet 355 CID with four bolt mains, Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads. 2.05 intakes and 1.60 exhaust. Complete crane hydraulic roller cam setup with roller lifters. Roller rocker arms. Dual roller push cam chain. Edelbrock dual quad 500 cam carbs with ball bearing progressive linkage and Edelbrock phished aluminum manifold. Custom make long tube headers. Gear reduction starter. Aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan. Over 400 hp. Car weighs 2,400 pounds roughly.
Transmission: 5 speed Borg Warner T5 with hydraulic clutch.
Differential: Ford 8" 3.55 with traction lock.
Chassis: Rack and pinion sterring. Independent front suspension with duel adjustable colliers and anti roll bar.
Exterior: 16" chrome wire wheels with real knock-offs. Convertible top (pictured) is dark blue.
