1962 Austin Healey 3000 BT7-L 3000 Mark II 2+2 Description

Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this spectacular 1962 Austin Healey BT7 3000 Mark II 2+2 in beautiful condition. This car has been completely restored; it looks amazing, runs great, and is an excellent driver. This Austin Healey is priced to sell, always turns heads, and gets a TON of attention going down the road. It received a Gold level certification from the Austin Healey Concours Registry. The award is still with the car and pictured below. The car is finished in the beautiful and highly desirable color combination of Bright Blue over Dark Blue. Please peruse all of the photos, numbers, video, and information below to get a true sense of how nice, clean, and striking this Austin Healey really is.

This 3000 Mark II comes with a wealth of original documentation and records. This 1962 Austin Healey was purchased brand new on September 15, 1962 from "The Auto Show" in Pawtucket, RI. The original Bill of Sale from that dealership, signed by the original owner, is still with the car and pictured below. Interestingly, the Bill of Sale shows that the original owner traded in a 1960 Volkswagen on this Austin Healey. The original Conditional Sales Contract and financing form is also included with the car and pictured below.

The car also comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certified Copy of a Factory Record and a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Production Record Trace Certificate. There is a stamping on the engine pictured below, "29E-RU-H/5321." This is the correct number according to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Factory Record. The gearbox number, 3128, and body number,18811, are also correct and pictured below.

The removable soft-top, (hood), removable side windows, and tonneau cover are included with this Austin Healey. The car is also well optioned with wire wheels and functional overdrive.

As a side note, this Austin Healey is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Mark II, just give us a call.
