This 1962 Healey 3000 MkII BT7 was restored for touring some years ago and has been enjoyed ever since.
Appears solid and rust-free. Received a good driver quality re-paint in original white that shows nicely today. Interior was also replaced at that time. Full zippered tonneau cover is included, along with BRAND NEW WHITE TOP to be installed. Chrome appears original and in good condition. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS.
Mechanically excellent. Oriignal engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has seen limited use since. Recently, the current owner replaced the original radiator with a NEW HIGH-PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM RADIATOR from Wizard Cooling that provides significantly better cooling than the original. Shroud and new high-flow fan were also fitted to keep this Healey cool at all times. (For the purist, the old original radiator will be included for the winning bidder, if desired.) The engine has been recently tuned (including the three SU carburetors) so it runs as a Healey should. Smooth, quiet and plenty of power. 4-speed manual transmission WITH WORKING FACTORY OVERDRIVE shifts well and makes this car a pleasure to drive at highway speeds. SEE VIDEO OF ENGINE RUNNING.
FOUR NEW ORIGINAL-STYLE CHROME WIRE WHEELS (with knock-off center hub) were just fitted to the car along with FOUR NEW RADIAL TIRES. Tracks straight, steers nicely. Stops well.
This car is ready to enjoy now for touring, or take it to the next level for show. The choice is yours.
