About this vehicleThis 1957 Austin-Healey 100 Six is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows.Seller's Notes1957 Austin Healey 100-Six Roadster up for auction. Early, numbers-matching Longbridge car with original gallery head and all other unique, hard-to-find early features including door locks, glass washer bottle and correct early door seals. Heritage Certificate states build date of May 22, '57 and makes it one of only 7053 cars built at Longbridge between May '56 and December '57. Certificate comes with the car. Has restored rallye-works hardtop in black with chromed hardware /trim and red headliner. Modern upgrades include aluminum radiator, Hi-flow fan, high-torque starter, alternator/negative ground conversion, 3.54 pumpkin gears, spin-on oil filter, locking gas cap, 3-point seatbelts, louvred bonnet, and elec. ignition. Parts taken off come with the car along with a complete, rebuilt gallery head ($1000) All changes are completely reversable. Car has the tool kit, correct early restored Longbridge side curtains, and correct Shelley jack and handles, all with storage bags. The luggage rack, floor mats and door card protectors are all original NOS Amco items. Car has factory overdrive (gearbox and overdrive recently rebuilt by British Car Specialists), adjustable steering column, laminated windscreen, windscreen washer, full split tonneau and bar, heater/demister, functional soft fop and frame (could be replaced but perfectly useable as is), and perspex wind wings. Also has Lucas SFT576 Driving and fluted Fog lamps and PL700 Tripod headlights, all protected by period rock screens. Even the AA badge has the correct registration number for the car's build date. Car has a removable matching upholstered rear deck over the jump seats for luggage or your dog, removable rear view mirrors mounted in the side curtain holes, and unique dash treatment similar to the 100-4's. Everything on the car works and it has been on several multi-state trips. A 2-time winner peoples choice for its class at 2018 and 2019 AHCA Conclaves along with many other top local awards. Original Wimot-Breeden Union keys for all locks, ignition and gas cap. Other pics and info on request. License plate DOES NOT come with the car.
