1958 Austin Healey 3000 100-6 BN6 Description

Stunning 1958 Austin Healey 100-6 BN-6 in Old English White (Ivory) over Red Leather with White Piping all numbers matching with British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate confirming as built condition.
This is a complete restoration of an extremely solid original example with only 85,000 actual miles that remains in outstanding condition today. The professional restoration started many years previously and covered all facets of the car. Completed only recently and looks as though it was done to win awards.
The BN-6 model specifically is the two seat version of the 100-6 and the very rare sibling to the BN-4 four seat model.
Cosmetically the car shows as new. Paint chrome and glass are all outstanding with nary a blemish to be found. Red leather seats, carpet, door panels and dash are all exceptional as well. Rides on very nice chrome wire wheels and includes a new red fabric soft top, new side curtains and good black tonneau cover.
Mechanically the car runs and drives beautifully with everything working exactly as it should. Everything mechanically has been renewed or replaced including wiring harness and electrics. Engine, transmission and brakes all updated and work exactly as they should. Overdrive is present and switches in and out as would be expected. All lights, gauges and switches are working correctly. New Stainless Steel exhaust tone is exquisite.
As mentioned the car comes with the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate stating exactly how the car left the factory in July 1958 and confirming that all numbers still match. Whether you are looking for one to show or simply enjoy when the weather is nice, they are hard to find in much better condition than this one.
