1959 Austin Healey Sprite Description

updated original car, titled as 1962, but built year or two earlier. converted fro 948 to 1275 engine, and fiberglass bonnet added for racing, commonly done in earlier years. odometer mileage unknown. needs new interior, and engine needs cleaning up. recent carburetor kit on twin SU'S. tran synchro rings worn, but drivable with proper shifting. replace orig diff w/ 3;90 for more drivability. rattles here and there, and tappet like sound from engine. odometer shows 4314 mi, but cannot verify. top worn and needs new. have side curtains. occasional balky start, may need new switch. Added electric cooling fan. tires good,original Hubcaps.
