1966 Austin Healey 3000 Description

1966 AUSTIN HEALEY, 3000, MKIII, BJ8, NUMBERS-MATCHING, EXCELLENT SURVIVOR

For sale is my 1966 “big” Healey. I have acquired anothercar, which is now the focus and being restored so I need the room for it. This Healey is an all-original survivor with 58K miles. I bought the car from a co-worker who was its second owner and bought it c. 1987. The paint, top, interior (except carpet), engine and tranny are all original (matching numbers) and in very good condition. The car has never been hit and the body and bumpers are as perfect as can be found on a 1966 original car. This car hides nothing as its condition is pretty much as it left the factory with commensuratepaint patina acquired over its easy and cared-for life of 51 years. The car has been mechanically gone-over to restore function and insure safety and performance. All rubber, hydraulics (including brake components), radiator, fuel system and other mechanical parts have been refurbished or replaced. Engine and transmission remain original. This roadster is very strong, runs in an exceptional manner and is a sheer joy to drive! Everything works as intended. The overdrive is fully functional. No surprises here! Please, contact me via eBay with questions. A description follows below:
