1967 Austin Mini Cooper. Excellent!
1967 Austin Mini Cooper. Excellent! Ready for Vintage Racing! Description
1967 Austin Mini Cooper MK1 1000 Saloon From the collection of a noted Northwest collector and vintage racing enthusiast. This Mini was delivered to Canada and came to the U.S. about a decade ago. RUST-FREE throughout. Body is straight and well detailed. Excellent paint. Rebuilt 1 liter engine and gearbox with synchro 1st gear, ideal for vintage racing. Auxiliary tachometer and racing speedometer added. Excellent oil pressure. Runs cool. (See gauge photos.) This Mini is FAST, tight and handles exceptionally well at all speeds. Excellent brakes and tires. Ready for the road or race course. Drive it home. Great fun on the road and always draws attention wherever it goes.NOTE: We are aware that the body has many styling cues of a later Mk II (roll-up windows, concealed door hinges, etc.) Any changes made to the car were done at some time prior to its entry into the U.S. by a previous owner. However, the VIN number is a 1967 number and the car is titled as a 1967. Thus, we are listing and selling it as a "1967." Please see photo of the title at the bottom of the listing. If you are looking for a dialed-in Mini that's ready to go anywhere, this is the one. A reasonable reserve has been placed on this car. Please bid accordingly. WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS WORLDWIDE. Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
