This is a 1963 Austin Cooper, Mk1. Right hand drive. Ive owned it about 10 years. Shortly after getting it, I stripped all the paint, engine, transmission, interior and wiring . I installed new carpet, headliner, seat covers, & wiring harness. The wiring harness as well as any panels came directly from heritage in England. I rebuilt the upper half of the motor, and completely painted the car inside and out.
I'm the third owner of this vehicle. The first in the US. I have photos of the first and second owner, as well as photos of this vehicle in multiple rallies in Europe. I have photos and records and receipts from the 60s 70s 80s and 90s. This vehicle was in approximately 33 races in Europe. It has a full documented race history in a journal which is included in the sale.
It has a 998 cc motor. The original motor was a 997 cc, but blew up during a race in his first year. The second year the owners purchased the 998 from the Austin factory motor from the Austin Cooper factory. Which I have receipts for.
