1993 Bentley Continental Turbo R
Built by Rolls Royce at Crew, Cheshire England
This car is finished in Arctic White with an all leather Tan interior. The interior shows very little wear and the wood is in nearly flawless condition. The front seats have track extensions for long legged drivers.
Under the hood is the legendary 6.75 L Vickers V-8 with a single Garret turbocharger married to a GM 4 speed automatic transmission. The normal or sport shifting speeds can be selected using the sport button on the shift lever.
When this car was built, the Turbo R was generally considered to be both the fastest and most expensive production car available. When new it would accelerate from 0 to 60 in 6.6 seconds and had a starting price of US 272,000 dollars.
This car has a current state inspection. It starts right up and is a joy to drive on winding country roads on a sunny day. The heat and air conditioning work fine as do all accessories.
