1981 BMW 323i
1981 BMW i3 323i Description
You are looking at a rare 1981 BMW 323i euro version. Car was bought by myself from a BMW collector some time ago. My plans were to restore it,but plans have changed and now I'm putting it out there in hopes another BMW collector, fan orenthusiast will pick it up. The car sat for 8 years before I bought it and I got it running. It could still use some cleaning,tune-up and to be driven more. It runs and drives good though! It's fast, handles like a champ and is a blast to drive.
Minor body damage which I have shown. The pictures presented show the car well, undercarriage is fine and the car has minimal rust issues. There is a little rust starting to form near the rear shock towers in the trunk area so the next owner may want to keep an eye on that. Other than that, she is solid.
I have all paperworkand records going back to the 80's with it and it is all included with the sale.
I opted NOT to detail it as to show what it is really there and the condition it is in. It's in pretty good shape and should not be difficult to bring to the next level.
Some things you will want to replace, such as the mufflers(they are super old),the windshield has a small crack in it,the fender(or it could be fixed) and the bumper. Bumper could be straightened though.
It's a nice car,you shouldn't be disappointed. Everything works like it should except the old Pioneer Component stereo from the early 80's-they have a built in amp and I'm sure the fuse is bad inside of it.
The car is a blast to drive and it is turn key. Might want to baby it a little to break everything back in first though.
Thank you and happy bidding. Car has NO RESERVE on it so no need to wonder what the numbers are.
EDIT: I have added a picture of the trunk towers. I do not know how the damageoccurred to the front end,it was like that when I bought the car. It is not bad. Fender needs work and the bumper straightened. The BBS front piece is still perfect.
