For sale is my 1983 BMW 320i. This was the final year for the E21. I purchased the car 4 years ago from Coast Motor Werk in Huntington Beach, California. If you've heard of CMW, then you're familiar with Ron, and George, and the outstanding work they do on classic Bimmers. Or simply check out their reviews online. They took good care of this one. I purchased this car from Ron, and it had 159,446 original miles on it. It now has 164,750 originalmiles on it. The original odometer, and trip meter still works too.The car has lived it's entire life in Southern Califormia. San Diego, and Orange County, and is 100% Rust Free! It now resides in the Houston area. The car runs great, it starts right up with the turn of the key, the engine is smooth, the clutch is smooth, and the transmission shifts through all the gears like butter, downshifting is a breeze. The car has absolutely no fluid leaks at all. I use all synthetic fluids in the car. The engine uses Royal Purple 20/50, the transmission uses Redline MTL, and Redline Gear Oil in the rear Differential. The car came with Bilstein Heavy Duty Struts, and Shocks front and back, 15" Alpina Wheels, with Dunlop Drizza tires, Alpina Steering wheel in leather. Drives great. Everything in the car works as it should, the Tach, and speedo, the power mirrors, the manual Sunroof, all lights and gauges in the instrument cluster, signals, and hazards, fog lights, clock, radio, truck light, dome light. The registration is current, and the state inspection is current. This car could be driven cross country without any issue. As an original California car, there are few cracks in the dash near the speaker, the paint is extremely shiney and glossy, there are a few scratches and dings that came on the car, but it is really a great nice looking E21. The interior is very good, the seats, carpets, and doorshave no rips, and the vinyl is very clean, no spots or blemishes. The car arrived inCaliforniafrom Germany with no A/C. Please be aware. Since I've owned the car, I've added Brembo rotors and ATE pads to the front, and ATE Drums, wheel cylinders, and ATE rear pads. Replaced the controls arms, and all bushings, new Bosch fuel pump, and fuel filter. All belts and hoses, plugs, rotor, etc, new fuel distributor, Guibo, Cat converter, Ansa Muffler exhaust. Also added a new Alpine head unit with HD, and CD, with IPOD and and Android, and Polk Audio speakers front and rear. The car is agile, responsive, and fun to drive. You should see the look on the faces of the new 320i drivers, or the 328i folks, when this classic zooms right by them on the freeway. They always offer a "thumbs up" to the history and the heritage. Not a lot of these on the roads anymore. Payment is cash. Will accept Paypal and paypal credit cards method if the buyer is willing to pay the 3% fees they charge.
