Clean 1992 E30 BMW 325i Convertible
1992 BMW 3-Series Base Convertible 2-Door Description
Hi Y'all,
This is my 1992 BMW E30 325i Convertible. I have owned her for about 6 months and have enjoyed every minute of it! Times are changing and my business is growing so I need to let go of my baby to buy an SUV to better suit my daily needs.
She is very clean for her age and runs great, but could use some tlc here and there just like any old BMW.
Exterior: The body and paint is in great shape for its age. 90% of the paint veryglossy and minimalscratches. There are portions of the hood where the clear coat is oxidizing and it makes it hazy. Most of this can be fixed with a good compound buff. There are no dents or panels misaligned. There is one small ding( smaller then golf ball) on the front right fender. All of the headlights, tail lights, and blinkers work great.
Interior: This car has the optional sport bucket seats which truly have tons of bolstering. All of the components to the seats and thecushioning is still in very good shape. The leather itself could use some TLC and has sun cracking from the age. The dashboard has no cracks and is not sun faded at all. All of thecarpeting and door panels are still crisp white with no major stains or wear and tear. All speakers work well and actuallysurprised me how good they are.
Mechanical: The engine still pulls strong and has plenty of power to cruise at 90+ on the highway. I recently replaced the alternator belt, battery, and gave her a fresh tune up. The engine bay is very clean, and clearly shows she has been taken care of throughout her life. The automatic transmission shifts crisp and goes through all gearswithout a problem. The odometer stopped at 114K so she is actually around the 130-140k mark.
Everything Else: The tires have about 80% tread left on them but you can tell they show some weathering from being on the car awhile. The brakes bite hard, with nosqueaks orshimmy. Thesuspension still corners flat and rides like a BMW should. The sport wheels are in amazing shape with no curbing or major scratches. The convertible top is still in generally good shape considering its age. The convertible motor no longer works but it folds down by hand flawlessly, and the rear hatch motor still works great. I carefully removed the rear plastic windowbecuase it had started to get cloudy and I planned on replacing it.Unfortunately, life got in the way and I never had a chance to install a new plastic window( the car has remained covered at all times). There is a small 2in slice in the top; however, I have had a professional patch on it for a while and it has worked great. The rest of the top is still very thick and not sun faded.
If I missed anything please feel free to message me anytime with questions! If you would like to see the car in person let me know and I would be happy to show it to you. If you are bidding from far away I am willing to take detailed pictures orvideos of any part of the car for you. I prefer in person pick up, but am willing to work with a shipper if that is the route you have to take.
Thanks For Looking,Zach
