1986 BMW 5-Series Description

All original BMW 528e E28 Economy that runs and drives very well, all it needs is a fan shroud and a/c recharge. Everything works, power seats and power windows work, new speakers and radio, very well maintained, good VA inspection, fairly new tires and suspension, not much rust on the car at all (golf ball size hole in trunk spare wheels well, starting to bubble on one front fender by the bottom of the front door, frame is perfect, body all original, few dings and dents, not too bad. Clear coat faded on hood and roof but it looks great in my opinion. Does over 30mpg on the highway (would even go as far as saying closer to 40mpg when you are cruising at 75mph. extremely economical in the city also. rides like a dream. cruises at less than 2k rpm on the highway. the interior is super clean. fully adjustable power seats, power mirrors, power locks, power windows... a/c needs recharge and makes a clicking noise from fan, heat works nice. everything in the car works. no check engine light. the odometer stopped around 370k, this car absolutely has over 400k miles, and i have complete faith it can make it another 400k or even to a Million!! the engine runs very well, transmission shifts great, newer tires and suspension on it, all lights working. this passed VA inspection and is driven just about daily. incredibly comfortable and cool car. A real piece of automotive history! I believe i am the 2nd owner, the prior owner put 98% of the miles on the car. He sold it to me because he had to leave Virginia in a rush and couldn't take it with him. I have too many cars and too little space.
