1976 BMW 2002 Base Description

I am bringing you a super clean, all original blue plate, 2 owner (2'nd owner owned it since 1998) 1976 BMW 2002 Automatic in an excellent and original un-restored condition with no rust with production date of January of 1976
With all due respect to all ebayers;I apologize in advance and do not mean to be rude by saying that I am starting the bids at a very low starting price of $17,000 as this car is worth north of $40,000 in all it's original glory and anyone who wants to place a lower bid than $17,000 is not really serious and does not know what this car is, has no business placing a bid or owning it.
This car belongs in a museum or a collection as it is in prime and original condition, reliable and driveable. I guarantee the sale*
I bought it because the 2'nd owner was heart broken when someone backed into the front nose of the car and damaged the sheet metal in front and the hood.
In addition the lady whom owned it also said the right rear corner tail light was also broken and so she had "Niello BMW" replace Both rear tail lights with new ones.
The car has been serviced by "Niello BMW" in Sacramento which was the closest BMW dealer to her since 1998 when she bought it and is in excellent condition.
The condition of the engine with no leaks, interior, carpet, service records, original crack-free dashboard, under-carriage, interior, headliner and trim all around the car also support the 98,631 miles being original since the odometer only shows 5 digits.
Service records go back to 2010, as she did not keep them past 7 years.
Things, I have done:
The front nose and hood were fixed (original parts to the car) professionally by a master bodyman, painted 2 stage with clear coat and blended in properly.
Gave her a complete tune-up by changing Spark plugs with Bosch Super copper OEMs, distributor cap, rotor, valve adjustment, oil, oil filter and air filter change. The front brakes and rear brakes are in excellent shape and are good for at least another 15,000 miles(I took pictures of them)
The car has proper and original California emission equipment and passed California Smog check as of May 10'th of 2017.
Important note:
The windshield has a few chips and couple of stone-chipped stars and since it's the original BMW one I decided to leave it up to the buyer to decide if he/ she would like me to have it fixed due to it being original and having patina or have it replaced at no cost with a new one.
