1976 BMW 2002 Description

Nice 1976 BMW 2002.
Mildly modified. Engine has upgraded cam, long tube headers, and Weber carb. 4-speed with short throw shifter from 3-series. Shifter bushings are new. Main shaft bearing has been replaced. Runs great.
Suspension has been upgraded with Eibach springs and Billstein shocks. SS braided brake and clutch hoses. Runs 3-series rims. Tires are OK but getting old.
Car was restored in CT about 8 years ago. Speedometer has never worked since current owner got the car, but restoration had about 4,000 miles on it when car was purchased. About 20,000 miles since restoration now.
Car is driven frequently. Has made a number of long distance trips without issue.
Car is equipped with dealer installed sunroof, common at the time. These look like a factory installation but are glass, so clearly distinguished from the factory installed ones. Works great.
Has A/C but has not been charged or used since car was restored.
Paint is holding up OK. Car has some minor bubbling in the doors and fenders. The underbody, rockers, and floors are perfect.
