1990 BMW 3-Series 325i Description

Up for sale is a 1990 BMW 325i E30. This is one of the cleaner e30s that I have seen in recent years. It is black with black interior. The engine is the legendary M20 2.5L straight 6 that is mated up to an automatic transmission. These engines are known to go 300k miles no problem. Now is your chance to own one of the most desirable models of the e30 range. The 325i with the later model styling which is the plastic bumpers. Mechanically the car is in great shape. It runs smoothly and the transmission shifts nicely. The brakes work well and it drives as it should. There is plenty of tread on the tires. For the body, the paint is in pretty good shape overall. The shine is still pretty good on it considering that I think that it is original paint. There are no major dents or dings. There is almost no rust on it. There is only a little a bit on the bottom of the rear of the fenders and then a little bit in the battery box area. It is not bad at all though compared to what I have seen on most e30s. The only way that you can see it is if you get down low and look closely at it. I would say that the body is in very good shape for a car of this age. The interior is in overall good shape. There is a seam split on the driver side seat but I think that it could be sewn back together. There are a few of the standard cracks in the dashboard and the steering wheel has a little bit of discoloration on it but overall the rest of the interior looks good. The odometer is broken as is standard for e30s but the speedometer still works. The only other gauge problem is that the tach sticks at 2,500 rpm for some reason. Everything else electronically works on the car as it should. Overall this e30 is very clean and is a great chance to own a classic for not that much money.
