58k Actual Miles - Overall Nice Shape - Needs Bodywork & Misc TLC - No Reserve!
1988 BMW 3-Series Convertible Description
You're looking at a beautiful little 1988 BMW 325ic. Clean/clear Indiana title shows just over 58k actual miles. Overall nice shape.
The original Cirrusblau paint is in decent shape. There's clear coat scratching on the front right fender, 2 dents on the hood, a dent behind the right rear wheel, and the main damage at the left rear (all pictured). The convertible top could also use some work. Similar fixed examples have sold on Bring a Trailer for $10,000 to $15,000 (I don't have the money or time to do so myself).
The interior is in nice shape, the dash is crack free, the seats have no rips or tears but do show some daily driving wear. The top and middle of the rear seat has been previously recovered and looks great. Windows go up and down quickly, shift lever is very crisp, it feels new. Autocheck shows a title/mileage issue in '04 and shows that it was later corrected, Indiana is very strict so it must have been their mistake, the current Indiana title is clean and shows just over 58k actual miles.
Mechanically it's in very nice shape, starts right up and runs great. There is some steering wobble over 60mph, and the tachometer doesn't work. Brake lining and ABS light are on, as is Coolant check light (coolant level is good, may be faulty sensor).
This E30 is being offered at No Reserve, it's a great opportunity to pick up an extremely low mileage example that can be fixed and enjoyed for years to come.
Buyers are welcome to inspect the car in person. Sold as-is/where-is, no warranties, all sales final and must be completed within 7 days of auction close.
