1973 BMW 3.0 CS Description
1973 BMW 3.0 CS. Canadian car,cluster in kilometres. This car's original color was Green. It also featured an automatic transmission. In 1990, it was converted to black paint. It went from having a normal 3 L CS engine to a CSI engine taken from a BMW 530. That's also the time when it was converted from its automatic transmission to its current five-speed manual transmission. The work was done by BMW specialist George Moutafis, a race car driver and owner of TC Auto in Montréal, Quebec.The car features one of the exceptionally rare Blaupunkt Berlin sound system which at the time was widely regarded as the most high-end radio system in the world featuring a microphone and cassette deck as well as a LED receiver. The head unit is mounted on an adjustable arm which can be positioned to driver's desired angle near the steering wheel.The car runs and drives but it obviously requires some restoration work.The original engine and original automatic transmission are not available.
