BMW 635csi 1989 Auto VGood condition 135,160 Miles red/black performs very well NO RESERVE
I am an architect w office in Orlando. My 100% feedback rating is not based on vehicle sales but musical instruments (hobby).I loved this model when I came of age... It is a gorgeous car and was anEbaypurchase over 11 years ago from a northern owner.I have not raced it, gunned the engine, or pushed it in any way. Made repairs as necessary/needed.The engine still purrs and has more power than you may anticipate. It is fast and performs well. It corners without much body sway.Because: I did not like the original hydraulicsin the rear and went to shocks and also lowered the car about an inch or less. Original equipment is still there and was working when deactivated.I also did not like the rear body angling up from the rear wheels and so I added a body panel which I would do again if I bought this car. I added a trunk lip too. And muffler tips. I added an M3 badge but this is not an M3, it is an 89 635csi. Tires have a lot of rubber left in great shape. It looks amazing.I sold the original 15 or 16" wheels and put on 2000ish model 7 series OEM 18" rims and wider tires. Does the job, and has a very tight feel to it. I think I put sports shocks on the front. No other engine or tranny or chip modifications.
The muffler system is the only other change and has a louder sound (may have bypassed cats, can't remember. The windows are tinted with a small band at top of front window. In the last 15,000 miles I have had new rotors and pads and calipers, master cylinder, starter, and just three days ago had the brake booster replaced. I took it in because the anitlockbrake light was on. I am taking it to a different mechanic to see if he can solve this issue.Premium gas only, regular maintenance. Sunroof, sports shift, heated seats, etc.All electricals are working: window regulators, lights, onboard computer, etc.The bad: AC needs drier and evaporator, a $1000 fix according to mechanic. Clearcoat is starting to flake here and there, most noticeably on trunk. One tab on air vents broken but can be moved.Bottom of driver's seat was redone in a softer leather. Some stitching was done on upper section, rear seats very good but latches on both sides need adjusting to move seats back. Some undercarriage scaling from northern location. Some body and paint work over the years.Overall very clean including trunk. No water damage of any kind.I must have spent over $15,000 over the years addressing belts, hoses, and when unloaded off the truck when first purchased used, the transmission had to be replaced with some work on steering. This is a lovely vehicle that is working very very well. Tracks straight and is a joy to drive.I am listing this as a no reserve. Only reason is I have a temporary cash flow issue. If this does not sell I will most likely keep it.Photos shownhere from this morning (2/16/2018) after a detail. This is an accident freevehicle according to records and smoke free.Spotless vehicle history!Happy to answer any questions and if in area for you to take a test drive. This is a no reserve auction!I drive this car about 50 miles a week avg and will take it out one or two times more until auction ends.
