1986 BMW 325ES with 40825 documented original miles. Amazing little E30
1986 BMW 3-Series ES sport Model Description
1986 BMW 325ES with 40800 original documented miles!!! Extraordinary Condition. 10/85 Build date. The car even has the Original Run-In (Break-in) sticker in the top left of the windshield!! I purchased the car in 2014 from the original owner in Beverly Hills Ca. The original owner passed away in 1999 and the car sat in the garage until I purchased the car. I spared no expense in bringing it back to life. Removed the fuel tank and cleaned, replaced all the rubber parts that had deteriorated over time. Installed new fuel filter, radiator, cooling hoses, air intake boots, and battery. I replaced the timing belt and all the drive belts also. I also upgraded the suspension with Bilstein Sport Struts and Shocks with H&R sport springs and S&T big sway bars front and rear. I also added a Wilwood Big Brake kit with 310mm 2 piece rotors from Wilwood, front and rear. It includes Braided Stainless Steel Brake lines, and a 26mm bore master cylinder from an M3 for excellent stopping power. Also installed were Turner Motorsport Front and Rear Strut Braces that are Chrome. I installed a Dinan Chip in the EMS to increase horsepower by about 40 HP to make it a bit more snappy. The car was equipped with a LSD from the factory. I changed all fluids including Transmission and Differential. I drove the car about a year and decided to take the performance better. I purchased a Metric Mechanics Custom Head that included Race Valve Springs, Stainless Steel valves with 3 angle grind, Ported Intake and Exhaust runners, and Custom Cam, Big Bore Throttle Body and K&N Cold Air Intake. I spent a lot of hours polishing the Valve Cover and Intake Manifold to match the Strut Braces! Active Autowerks Ceramic Coated headers with Billy Boat exhaust and High Flow Cat. Sounds amazing and Drives even better. The car has a Ton of Torque and of course additional horsepower. Stock front air dam and rear trunk lid spoiler that are BMW Correct and Original. I installed HELLA high power head light and fog lamps to Light the way. I did the R134a conversion on the A/C that blows ice cold. Everything works as it should. All the original decals in the engine compartment are still there and in excellent condition. They are not replacements. The car sat in the garage for 15 years and it had a window in there so the right rear quarter panel was faded more than the rest of the paint. No matter what I tried to get it to match the rest of the paint I could not get it correct, so I had it completely repainted. All the glass was removed and every ding was repaired. It was repainted the original Bronzeit Metallic that came stock. 3 coats of paint and 3 coats clear. Not a nick, rock chip, or scratch on this car. Beautiful deep rich color to the paint! The interior is perfect with upgraded Stereo and speakers. No tears or rips in any of the seats. The dash "DOES NOT" have any cracks. CocoMats Custom Floormats for all 4 seats. I had the correct size speakers installed so there was not any additional cutting or altering or the interior panels for the speakers. It does have satellite radio, CD AM/FM bluetooth Pioneer Stereo with Polk Audio Speakers. I installed Beyern Mesh Wheels and Michelin Pilot Super Sports. 16 x 7 wheels and 215/50/16 tires that have about 1000 miles on them. I had to have 16 inch wheels to accommodate the Big Brake kits. The power windows and sun roof operate normally. The car needs nothing. The Sun Roof, Cruise Control, Clock, Air Temperature gauges all work also. I also have all the Original Owners Manuals and the Original Window Sticker!! I had the window sticker framed so it would be cool to display in your garage. As you can see, it listed for $23770.00 in 1986. I have a total of 4 BMW's at home and the car spends all of its time in the garage with a BMW Custom Car Cover. I just need the space for my other projects. It is just a amazing E30 that will last well into the 300,000 mile club. Since the car has spent its whole life in California the underside is extra clean and does not have any rust on the underside. The E30 does not leak any fluids and does not consume oils either. At about 38,000 miles the inspection light came on telling that inspection 1 was due per the manual. I have not had it reset yet. Of course, all of that service was completed when brought back to life. I think I covered everything but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Shipping would be at the buyers expense but I will be willing to help is setting this up for the buyer. There are no warranty expressed or implied by the seller.
