Here I am offering up my 1956 BMW Isetta 300 bubble window I have spent the last 5 years restoring
and sorting.I purchased this car in 2013 in Tennessee. The previous owner said that the car originally came from
Ohio, which coincides with the original Buckeye sticker on the back window. The body and chassis of this car have matching numbers
The engine that is in it is from 1957. To startthe restoration the body of the car was very straight and rust free with only a little rust repair
on the lower front fenders and a hole in the battery box, very minor stuff. The car was resprayed factory color ResedaGreen, my personal favorite Isetta color!
David Rabb helped me with my custom Tartan pleated seat cover I wanted so badly as well asa interior panel kit which I covered myself.
I had Cornett in Germany make me a green Isetta sunvisor to match. I have also installed a Flat4 Petri banjo steering wheel with a golden lady horn button... So cool.. (the original steering wheel comes with the carand can easily be remounted). The majority of the parts I purchased for therestoration was from Isettas R us, they do a great job of supplying only the highest quality parts, I was impressed.Isetta Service in Germany and Isetta John all really came through too. Ihighly recommend these 3 toanyone restoring a Isetta.I love this car and have spent countless hours on it. and now my father and I are building 3 more bubble windowIsettas
