1991 BMW 525i E34 M50 4 Door Sedan straight 6 cylinder Silver
1991 bmw 525i Description
Has been literally driven like an old lady, my grandmother was the last owner and she drove it around palm springs and garaged it everyday, before that her daughter had it maintained and took great care of it. New transmission, new brakes, motor runs strong. Although they took it to a mechanic who somehow talked them into putting a new radiator in the vehicle, to make a long story short he put a e36 radiator instead of an e34, so upper radiator hose will not stay clamped to radiator and pops off when running the motor too hard. With a correct radiator install this car would be pristine. I do not want to take on the job at this time and do not particularly like wrenching on foreign cars, so i am selling it. Other than that i love the vehicle gets good gas mileage and is a blast to drive. Leather seats were refurbished motorized seat functions work. AC blows but not cold, been getting brake light sensor code, all other electrical is fine. Grandma backed into post small dent in trunk.
This car will start and run until motor heats up then radiator drips fluid and hose could possibly pop off again. Buyer should be prepared to tow away. I have dirt roads which like to shake that hose loose, somehow my grandma got away with driving it without problems for years on nice smooth roads though.
Clean title, passed california smog tags are all caught up.
