1969 BMW 2002 1600 Description

This beauty is located in Rhode Island and it’s the perfect driver car for anyone who would love to have a daily reliable beautiful car as the early E10 model BMWs are becoming increasingly rare in rust free condition like this one.
Here is how the owner describes the car as he is moving out of the state and I am helping him with the sale:
“Selling my 1969 BMW 1600 with a 2.0 motor with E12 head (Stamped 84)I'm the 4’th owner. It’s a CA/Texas car that has been garaged ever since it has arrived and been on the east coast.
No rust, just a few little bubbles on the paint as shown.
Runs and drives great. Took it on a 500+ mi weekend trip to NH and Maine last month. I'm moving out of state and do not have the means or the space to take it.
I have both front and rear bumpers and original wheels that are included with the auction.
These cars are getting hard to find and prices are going up.
4 speed, shifts great. Doesn't leak oil, I don't drive it much, but starts up easy each time, kept in the garage on a battery tender. Seats in great condition. Newer crack free dash and cluster from later 1973 model, new stereo and speakers. I have most of not all the parts to the center console but never put them in.
Many receipt, pictures of repaint and extra parts as show are included.”
Front windshield and gasket are new but missing the chrome locking strip.
The blower motor and wipers work properly and a refurbished washer reservoir and motor will be installed prior to delivery to buyer.
Nardi steering wheel installed. Wooden Nardi shift knob and original black vinyl shift knob is also included in addition to the custom “golf club” shift knob that is currently on the car.
All windows and their regulators are in good condition and work properly.
All paint blemishes are shown in details, the floors are solid and so are the shock towers as shown.
Selling worldwide and will assist with transportation arrangement.Contact me with questions and for you to see the car in person.
Good luck,
