1989 BMW 325i 2 door E30 - unmolested 71K miles
1989 BMW 3-Series Description
Beautiful 1989 BMW 325i that has been in my family since 1990. My father bought it used with 22,122 miles carefully driven by the first owner who was a long distance salesman who spent lots of time driving long distance on the NJ turnpike. It has basically been driven sparingly over the years and garaged over 90% of its life with no rust issues whatsoever. My father soon died after purchase of this car and my mother only used it in good weather, not even driving in the rain. I've owned the car since my mothers death in 2010 and it has been a dependable go to driver for me (I have not driven it in the snow aside from once when a squall came in while I was driving).
The interior is like new with no dash cracks and the back seat has only been used maybe a dozen times over the years. Original floormats are still there. Everything works except the cruise control and the only thing that may need replacement is the muffler which has some light leakage on the underside (its been that way for three years and has passed VA state inspection). The car is extremely reliable and I have kept it well maintained. I'd drive a 1500 mile trip with it without hesitation! It is very capable and stable at Autobahn type speeds.
Some important items that I have performed to the car are as follows to highlight that this is no old unreliable leaking smoking aging car:

The original red paint is very nice on this car but not show quality as there are some typical chips from driving, but no parking lot dents. My mother had a low speed accident not involving another vehicle or driver in March 2006. She was tired on chemo and parked in a supermarket handicap parking spot where upon leaving placed the shifter in drive instead of reverse, then hit the gas instead of the brake causing her to unexpectedly accelerate and run into a bench. There was/is no unibody damage or body panel replacement. The hood was straightened and repainted and grill and bumper replaced. The premium work was performed by Lakewood Auto in Oaklyn, NJ; I took it there for her as these people build custom limos and do show car like work. Paint match up is very good as you can see in the pics. I went through the car myself and there are no latent defects from the accident.
This car is located in Fredericksburg, VA and I encourage inspections by serious buyers. Joy riders and tire kickers will not be hosted. The car is also for sale locally, so this listing could be withdrawn at any time.
LOW RESERVE...Bid now before I change my mind as this car has sentimental value galore...
