Our Granada Red 1970 BMW 2002 Automatic
1970 BMW 2002 2D Description
Here is our 1970 BMW 2002 numbers matching Granada Red Automatic sedan. We bought it last year from a long time owner who lived in FL and then in PA. He had the car since mid 70s and we didn't get any repair or any kind of documents with the car when we received it.Car runs and drives great. Since we received the car we did the rear brakes, a new brake master cylinder, flushed and serviced the transmission, change the oil, plugs and flushed the radiator. Car does not burn oil or over heat. Starts very smooth and runs great on 4 matching steel wheels with Michelin tires.
The car looks really good and paint looks great but if you are looking for a restored show car or a car that you will eventually restore to show quality then this is NOT the car for you. This car is for someone who will just enjoy it the way it is and not be bothered with why is there a gap here? Why is there a bulge there? Why are the trims crooked? etc. etc.The car may have previous rust repairs done but i'm no expert and can't tell you where or what? I have included all the photos ebay is allowing me to and for additional photos please send me request. The seats, the headliner, the carpet are tear free. The under of the car looks good too. No rust on frame rail etc. that I can see. This car was bought for a family member who is launching their own business venture and wants to rid of the car to raise capital. Oh well... thats why you see the bluetooth speaker on the dash with a tray. The Motorola radio on the console works but not hooked up currently. The car currently is not being driven atall and sits at our business warehouse.
Please don't be scared with my ebay id because I always had wife use her ebay account. Please understand that this is a very rare being an Automatic and a round tail 2002 from 1970. That being said, you have to understand that the car is almost 50 yeasr old! Yes 50! not 15. and I have no history of it. Please buy it as is where is without any warranty expressed or implied. Clean and clear title in our name. If you are a dealer, or a flipper please I say stay clear out of this one. This car is for someone who will buy it and enjoy it as it is for many more miles or until driven to the ground.
Buyer to pay a deposit of $500 at the end of auction. The rest of the balance should be paid within 3 business days via cashiers check, wire transfer or cash in person. I have the right to end the auction early if I like. Please ask any and all questions before placing a bid. Please be serious and follow through when and if you win the auction.
