Up for sale is a 1991 BMW 318i with 293K miles (likely more as the odometer doesn’t work). It is relatively clean but has its warts and issues commiserate with the year and miles. I’ve owned it for a few months (I have too many old cars - all of them BMWs) and its time to move it along to someone else. I’m not a dealer. It runs and drives pretty well. If I kept it, I’d rub out the paint (some experimentation tells me it will come back), put new pads and rotors all around, and just do some little tweaks here and there. The steering has been converted to non-power. There is rust underneath and around the jack points - but still solid. The interior is quite nice and the previous owner installed a modern head unit complete with a mp3 cd with a huge library of music. It even has Bluetooth and a microphone for phone calls - though I haven’t tried it. When I purchased it, the rear brake lines were leaking and disconnected - so I fixed that. It comes with a brand new set of summer tires from tire rack, never mounted and still in their shipping straps. The tires that are on it are not to be trusted. All in all - a great little car and I’ve enjoyed buzzing around town. The previous owner included a ton of records and spare bits that will be passed along and fill most of the trunk. I reserve the right to end this listing early for a local sale.
