1986 BMW 325e automatic RWD E30
1986 BMW 3-Series Description
Up for auction is my 1986 BMW 325e.
The PO stated that the PO to him replaced the engine; so the actual mileage is unknown. It's still the M20B27. At some point, a PO changed the rear drums to discs as well. I've driven it to work and just around the town, but that's the extent of my time with it. I've spent more time fixing it in my garage than I have driving it as I prefer my E61 to the E30. Please read everything. The Good: • I fabbed up brackets (flat stock steel) and replaced the seats w/ manual sport seats from an E46. Originals were destroyed. Passenger back cover is currently removed due to a broken clip. • Has new trunk lock w/ it's own key • Comes with a plethora of new/used parts installed and/or with the purchase of the car • The battery it came with is likely going bad, so I bought an Odyssey PC680. Both batteries are included • Antenna is removed due to it being destroyed; have a cover in place currently. • Clean title in hand • It runs. • It's an E30. Comes with: • Unpainted MTech 2 fiberglass front and rear bumpers (not installed) • Sport steering wheel (installed) • Stock steering wheel (not installed) • Front driver and passenger E46 manual sport seats; black (installed) • Bluetooth radio (installed) • Premium E30 tweeters (Installed, but not connected) • Sparco front strut bar; red (installed) • (4) Chrome headlight rings (installed) • (4) Stock headlight rings (not installed) • (2) New tires (installed) • New hood latch release cable (installed) • New rack and pinion boots (installed) • New front sway bar links (installed) • New front inner/outer tie rods (installed) • New front Lower Control Arms (LCA) (installed) • New front lower rearward control arm bushings (installed) • New front strut mounts (installed) • New front shocks (installed) • New rear struts (installed) • New NGK spark plugs (installed) • New windshield wipers (installed) • New front rotors and pads (installed) • Fresh brake fluid change • Fresh oil change w/ filter • (2) New uncut BMW keys• Odyssey PC680 (not installed) • Extra relays • Extra front and rear side marker lights
The Bad: • AC is currently mostly removed, but still on hand. Still have the aux fan on and the heater works. • Currently has a high idle while in park, but NOT in drive. • The dashboard is heavily cracked, as is typical of E30s. • Power steering leak.• Random oil leak. Sometimes it happens, other times it doesn't. • Cluster only works when it wants to and only slightly. Mileage apparently stopped at 168k. • Rust on the rockers and fenders. • Front OEM valence is trashed, hence the new bumpers. • Will need an alignment, but is currently driveable. • OBC display does not work • Speakers will work, on occasion. • The passenger side windshield wiper is about falling off. • Window motors are going out. • Gets hard to unlock/lock the car from the driver door. • Tint will need replaced • Random dents, scratches, and paint peeling/scratches
Missing (Knowingly): • Glove box • Sunroof button • Original radio Sold as-is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for pick up and/or shipping. Deposit is required 48 hours after auction ends.
