This 1969 BMW 1600 was previouslyowned for the last 40 years by the same owner who parked it in 1995. This is a great project that deservesto be back on the road! The lights work along with the orange battery light, the right rear tail light works and the starter works but the engine seems not to be rolling over. The gas gauge does move when the ignitionis turned on. I'm currently working on getting the engine to turn. There is rust on the body in areas, also in the spare tire area and in 2 small spots on the drivers lower crossmember.
The clutch, brake pedal and ebrake work as they should.
The brightwork looks very clean and straight on this 1600, chrome does polish up well. The paint is very very old, probably needing a respray sooner than later.
The stock original interior does need some refreshening, but the floors are very solid. Pleasesee the undercarriage photos in the link below. The windows look to be all stock, the front windshield does have a few chips.
This 1600 seems to be very complete but is missing a rear tail light lens cover. It comes with its stock jack, clear WA title and an extra set of BMW rims. The stock BMW is included.
