This 1986 535i is a European bumper and front end converted car with more than just an Alpina livery added to it. Our E28 is equipped with the legendary S38 powerplant and full drivetrain from an M5. With the prices of E28 M5s on the rise, this is an excellent example of an even better looking E28 with Euro exterior modifications and all the power too!
The power is put down to the rear wheels with brand new Nexen tires wrapping around BMW's iconic Style 21 "throwing star" wheels, interchangeable with "turbo fan" inserts (not included). Suspension wise, the car is equipped with a sport shock and spring combination from Bilstein suspensions.
The car presents itself excellently having a fresh paint job in its original Alpinewhite and factory Recaro sport seats finished in blue. With a custom cut trunk insert added, the car also comes pre-wired with a subwoofer and speakers in the trunk along with spare Alpina vinyls should the new owner need to replace any.
This E28 also recently went through an extensive refresh totaling over $4,000 with new valve cover gasket, new battery, new hood insulation, trunk liner, vacuum hoses, power steering lines, plenum cleaning, plug seals, and engine cover repaint.
