1969 BMW 2002 Description

Overview:

VIN:

1663591 ON BODY AND ENGINE. Numbers Matching.

Please read the entire description so you know the current condition of the car. There is a link that will take you an amazon photo album, you can see all the pictures of the car thru different stages as well as pictures of rust, new parts, etc. Mechanically the car has been gone thru and fixed.

-Car starts up and runs great. Engine, and Four speed transmission work great. PO indicated that the engine was gone thru by Ireland Engineering, but I have no proof. I have taken the valve cover off, and the inside of the head is very clean (Pics in Link). I have spent some time going thru major systems of the car. I removed the entire front and rear suspension/subframe, and replaced all rubber bushings. I also repainted the metal parts with POR15. All new fluids (Engine, Trans, Diff, Axles), bushing, etc. I also installed a Bluetooth radio with an amp, and rear speakers.

- Originally Chamonix, but painted Agave. Paint is in rough shape, faded, and could use a respray. There is rust on the rockers near the bottom of the front fenders, and one spot on the driver side floorpan. The spare well has rust as well, and there was an attempt to fix it atsome point, but it is not clean. There are spots on the body with surface rust that the PO tried to cover up with primer, and agave paint. Please feel free to contact me if you need any pictures up close.

-Pics can be found here, of rust, parts, process, etc:
