1955 Buick Riviera Special Description

This is the most solid and original car from the 50s I have ever experienced. The original owner's grandson sold me the car a couple years ago having never driven it in 30yrs. Mileage is correct! It has been fixed up to drive as if it would never be sold; yet, it must. Please check out the photos and description to appreciate the coolness of this very desirable body style, color combo, and condition with just the right patina.
-100% original both outside and inside.-264 Nailhead V8-Original paint shines very well with expected blems being 60 yrs old.-Zero rust ever-The doors open and close perfectly.-Upholstery is incredible.-Rear seat is perfect underneath new covers that I installed to prevent damage from the kiddos.
Work done:-Cleaned and pressure tested radiator-Rebuilt water pump-Rebuilt fuel pump-brake cylinders, shoes, and hoses-battery and all bulbs-Rebuilt generator-NOS carb with fresh kit-Rebuilt wiper motor-Rebuilt heater control valve-Rebuilt generator-Instruments calibrated-New coil and plug wires-Electronic ignition-front wheel bearings-resurfaced pressure plate and flywheel-pilot bearing, throw out, clutch disc-BFG Silvertown tires and tubes-Powder coated wheels-New fuel tank and sending unit-New front shocks-Rebuilt rear shocks ($550 from Apple Hydraulics)-Front and rear sway-bars (high dollar custom)-Dual exhaust to cherry bombs-Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds-Radio converted to digital fm with auxiliary input-speakers in kick panels-factory speaker converted to secret compartment-2 layers of Dynamat deadener under orig carpet-Dynamat inside doors for sound deadening-Trunk lining redone because original fabric was grease soaked and stunk inside the cabin. I used the reproduction material to match original.-New vent window rubber
It's an incredible car. However, there are some blems from age and use (paint chips/dings/scratches, slight pitting on a few pieces of chrome, driver's armrest deformed, cracked paint on tops of doors)
I have this listed locally and in Hemmings (where there are more photos). Therefore, I reserve the right to delete this listing.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for questions or pictures. I will get back to you sooner by email/text. God bless!
