1951 Buick Roadmaster RARE CONVERTIBLE Description

I have for sale a 1951 Buick Roadmaster Convertible. Ever seen one ? I am the second owner of the vehicle.I purchased it from a Widow Lady in PA. about 20 years ago. Her father bought the car newinPittsburgfor her in 1951. She tells of the excitementdriving it home with the top down and her hair blowing in the wind. She was theHigh School Prom Queen etc. and tells of the Roadmaster leading the Home Coming Paradeseach year.

The Roadmasterhad been in her garage since 1980 when I bought the car in 96 andit has been in mydry storage since then. Her late husband spent many years at swap meets searching for NOS parts that willcome with the car when you purchase it. From what I understand, her husband decided he was going to restore it and removed the front fenders and the lift off hood to overhaul the engine and transmission which was completed. He removed all of the chrome and had it re-chromed, still in the wrappers. The Stainless steel is new and still in the wrappers. He foundtwo NOS rear fenders and other trim items. He removed the old leather seats andinstalled a new interior made for the seats, side panels etc. It appears that he did the brakes new and other mechanical issues were addressed before he took sick and died in 86.

The Roadmaster runs and drives excellent, even with out the front fenders and hood! I start it and exercise it in the subdivision streets every few years. The straight eight engine purrs like a kitten. My late Buick mechanicfather tells of being able to put a quarter on edge on the valve cover, accelerating and never tipping the quarter ! It really is a awesome engine.

Health forces me to sell the Roadmaster before it is finished. In all of my 72 years I havefound but one other1951 Roadmaster Convertible and it toowas in PA. returning to earth. Perhaps there are a few more somewhere. In any event, this Roadmaster is the Rolls Royce of the fifties in the earlyAmerican produced luxury cars. Don't tell me its to much money to pay for this piece of American Art. I can easily imagine this Roadmaster in Scottsdalefetching a quarter of a million in a few years. I only want a fifth of that amount. So unless you are a serious player in Automobile Art and can play on this level, don't call or text me to tell me that I have lostmy mind. I hear that from my wife all the time. Call and ask me my bank account number so you can wire me the money. Text or Call Dr. Dave @ 832 533 7767 for more information or my bank information.
